LEARNER'S ACADEMY
At Learner’s Academy, we provide several resources to help facilitate the college application process for both students and parents. Listed below are resources that Learner’s Academy provide to supplement the consulting services we provide:
Learner’s Academy Student Guide (LASG):
This guide is beneficial to students as it provides a detailed scheduled that will help students stay on task. We provide modified versions of the guide, depending on whether the student is applying Early Decision/Action or regular decision. Considering that deadlines vary, we expect students to let us know of the deadlines of all schools they are applying to early in the process so they can stay on schedule and not fall behind.
Interview Guides and Mock Interviews:
We help students prepare for college interviews by providing sample interview questions and answers. Furthermore, we conduct mock interviews to help students’ morale and confidence.
Student-Parent Sessions:
We understand that many parents become involved in the college application process. Hence, Learner's Academy makes a special effort to keep parents in-the-loop. To help parents stay involved, we offer student-parent discussion sessions.
Testing Resources:
Learner’s Academy provides tutoring services for various standardized tests. We make available several testing resources to help students succeed in standardized tests. These resources include concept guides, practice tests and problems, and a well developed study schedule adjusted to the testing date.
