Since each student is unique, it is not possible to list all services we offer at Learner's Academy. But, there are a few steps of the college application process that most students need help with. Listed below is a description of some of the services that we provide at Learner's Academy:
Assistance with the Application
The college application must be filled out carefully. There are several components to the college application that vary with school. Students that join Learner's Academy as sophomores or juniors can benefit from our tips about how to best leverage their extracurricular activities to increase their chances at schools.
Essay Writing
Essays are a critical component of a student’s college application. At Learner’s Academy, we understand the challenges of writing a successful college essay. To help students submit high quality essays, we provide full access to tutors who edit student essays and provide feedback.
Understanding Financial Aid
Attending college is expensive. To help students financially prepare for college, we help them with finding financial packages and scholarships that they may qualify for.
Tutoring for Standardized Testing
Standardized test scores are important indication of student performance to colleges. With over 15 years in the tutoring industry, Learner’s Academy helps students excel in standardized testing. We tutor for SAT I and SAT IIs as well as the ACT. Tutoring services include frequent concept checks, abundant practice material, outlines, and a well developed study schedule.
Consultation Services
Meetings with students and/or parents help us identify how to facilitate the application process for different students. We provide self-assessment tools to students to help them understand which school they will best fit in. Results from these surveys direct how we guide the student. We understand that each student is unique and offer our services accordingly.
